Haute Couture Spring 2011

Laikā, kad Parīzē norisinās haute couture modes nedēļa, rodas pilnīga apskaidrība par to, kapēc tieši šī pilsēta tiek dēvēta par visu modes meku karalieni. Tie drīzāk ir sapņi, māksla un burvība, kas sastiķēti kopā izmantojot augstākās kvalitātes materiālus. 
Šoreiz uzmanību gribu vērst uz Givenchy kolekciju, kas, lai arī ļoti līdzinās iepriekšējai kolekcijai, tik un tā spēj aizraut elpu. Kleitas ir ne tikai gaisīgi skaistas, bet arī kvalitatīvi nostrādātas un tieši tik interesantas, ka no galvas tās izmest ir pilnīgi neiespējami. Pietam, kleitām ir tāds “I’m bringin' sexyback…” efektiņš, jo spēcīgākās detaļas ir novietotas tieši kleitas mugurpusē. Tagad tikai degu nepacietībā redzēt, kā šīs kleitas izskatīsies uz sarkanā paklāja...

During the haute couture fashion week, it becomes clear why Paris is the queen of all the fashion capitals. Dresses, costumes and gowns that are presented during this week, can’t be called regular clothes. They rather are a combination of dreams, art and beauty which have been put together using the materials of the highest quality. 

This time I want to talk about Givenchy’s latest collection, which completely takes my breath away. Even though it reminds me a bit of the previous collection, I still find it amazing and extremely interesting. The gowns are purely beautiful, well-made and have the “I’m bringin' sexyback...” effect as the strongest details are placed on the back of the dress. Can’t wait to see how these dresses will look on the red carpet...
