Atvainojos par īslaicīgo nozušanu, biju devusies mazā tūrītē uz vienu no manām mīļākajām pilsētām, Kopenhāgenu, kur pagājušajā nedēļā norisinājās modes nedēļa. Šovu pirmajās rindās gluži nesēdēju un slavenības nestalkoju, bet jāsaka, ka šo to redzēju un pabaudīju gan.
Uz Kopenhāgenu devos, lai palīdzētu savai prakses kompānijai. Diemžēl, tāpat kā iepriekšējajā gadā, arī šoreiz Designer’s Remix šovs norisināsies Londonā, bet tas nemaina faktu, ka šai kompānijai bija krutākais stends visā fašn weekā. (ievērtējiet paši) Var teikt, ka skraidot pēc kafijas, steamojot drēbes un darot visādus citus sīkdarbiņus, nedaudz atgriezos savā praktikanta ampluā, kas, jāsaka, man pat ļoti pietrūka.
Ja neskaita manu mazo darbiņu, paspēju apmeklēt arī pārējos fashion fair-us, kur varēja iepazīties ar jaunākajām rudens 2011 kolekcijām. Vēljoprojām pieturos pie uzskata, ka Gallery ir baudāmākais no visiem Kopenhāgenas fair-iem (tur aplūkojami tādi brendi kā By Malene Birger, Acne, Guess by Marciano, Linda Farrow u.c.), bet tāpat patīkami pārsteidza Terminal 2, kas ir tāds nedaudz “smagāks”, un varētu likties īsta paradīze puišiem, kam kaut nedaudz interesē mode (aplūkojami tādi brendi kā Diesel, Desigual, True Religion, Converse, Jeffrey Campbell, Miss Sixty, Lacoste u.c.).
Beet… Kamēr es remdējos atmiņās par savu mazo izbraucienu modes pasaulē, tikmēr visu uzmanība tiek pievērsta Ņujorkai, kas ir kārtējā pilsēta, uz kuru ir pārnesies modes nedēļu karuselis. Domāju, ka jau pavisam drīz kaut ko šajā sakarā te uzrakstīšu, bet tikmēr varat ievērtēt manu fashion week-a darba vietu:
TRANSLATION: I aplogize for the disappearance, but, believe me, this time I have a good reason. Last week I went for a small trip to Copenhagen which is one of my favorite cities. The reason for my trip was the fashion week and the great opportunity to help the company, for which I worked as an intern couple of months ago. As the company will have the show in London, this time they only participated in the fashion fair "Gallery" with the coolest stand ever.
Apart from my little work, I managed to visit other fashion fairs as well. I’m still strong believer that “Gallery” (brands like By Malene Birger, Acne, Guess by Marciano,Twin-set, Stine Goya, Minimarket, Marimekko, Linda Farrow etc. participated there) is the most interesting of all the fashion fairs that are held during the Copenhagen fashion week, but I was also pleasantly surprised by Terminal 2 ( brands like Diesel, Desigual, True Religion, Converse, Jeffrey Campbell, Miss Sixty, Lacoste etc. participated there), which is more grungy, rougher and might seem as a paradize for guys who are interested in fashion even just a tiny bit.
Buuut….while I’m remembering my days in Copenhagen, all eyes are on New York City, where the fashion week buzz is happening right now. I’m sure that in the following days I'll write smth about New York, but now- check the photos from my "work place":
