The Cutest Thing

Sveiciens visiem jaunajā gadā! Atvainojos par haltūrām iepriekšējā gada izskaņā- bija problēmas gan ar laiku, gan iedvesmiņu, bet tagad, pēc lieliskas atpūtas iekš latvju ārēm, esmu atpakaļ šeit, pietam, ļoti sparīga un enerģiska. Nezinu, kā Jums ir ar to “Jaunā gada apņemšanās” lietu, bet es laikam tam kaut nedaudz ticu un tapēc daru Jums zināmu, ka šogad esmu apņēmusies parādīties šeit biežāk un arī rakstīt par dažādākām lietām. Ja ir kādas ierosmes, jautājumi vai jebkas cits, ko vēlaties no manis dzirdēt, ļoti priecāšos, ja par to man pastāstīsiet. 

Ap Ziemassvētku laiku uzgāju visjaukāko lietu pasaulē, šoreiz visiem labi zināmā zīmola “Prada” ražojumu. Nē, nē, šoreiz nerunāšu par kurpēm vai somiņām, bet gan par atslēgu piekariņiem, kas radīti pavisam jauku lācīšu formā. Zinu, ka Ziemassvētki jau garām, bet tomēr, dāvanas laiku pa laikam esam pelnījuši saņemt visi, vai ne tā? Jāpiezīmē, ka viens no lielākajiem mīnusiem šai šķietami jaukajai dāvanai ir tās cena (vidēji £100), bet ar to laikam ir jārēķinās, ja klāt nāk “Prada” birka.

Happy new year to everybody! I apologize for my disappearance at the very end of 2010. Had problems finding time as well as some inspiration issues but now, after a great time that I have spent back at home, I’m back in my very best mood and full of inspiration. Not sure how you feel about the New Year’s resolutions, but I believe in them a very tiny bit and for the next year I have promised myself to write here more often and about more diverse subjects. If you have any suggestions, questions or anything else that you would like to hear, please let me know.

Around the Christmas time I discovered one of the cutest things ever, made by well-known fashion label “Prada”. No, no, this time I won’t be talking about shoes or purses, but about the key charms that are made as adorable small teddy bears. I know that Christmas is already gone and over, but we all deserve to receive a nice present once in a while, don’t we? The only drawback for this nice present option is the price (approx. £100), but I guess that’s what you have to put up with if you want your teddy bear to have “Prada” tag.

 

Un par to pašu lācīšu tēmu. Esot Latvijā, uzgāju kaut ko varbūt pat vēl jaukāku un piemīlīgāku un, kas mani pašu dara ļoti lepnu, šiem lācīšiem klāt ir “Made in Latvia” zīmīte. Šie, ar rokām tamborētie un ar pūkainu aitas vilnu pildītie lācīši, ne vien izskatās neizmērojami mīļi, bet arī piedāvā iespēju ierakstīt tajā savu balsi. Par lācīšiem vairāk var uzzināt hugu mājas lapā, bet iegādāties tos var dizaina veikalā RIIJA. 

And, on the same teddy bear subject. While being here in Latvia, I found out something that may be even cuter and nicer version of teddy bears and, what makes me even more proud- those lovely bears are made in Latvia. HUGU are hand-made crochet bears that are filled with sheep wool and what’s more- you can record your voice in them. There’s a tiny audio system inside the bear and you can record up to 155 sec., which can make it very personal, yet sweet present for somebody.
